Shiatsu, Acupuncture, Feldenkrais, Rubenfeld; they are all methods of  delivery to heal our bodies  and restore our well being. Everybody chooses whatever feels best for them, but who does the “healing”? The method or the human therapist behind that method? In my opinion it is the human therapist, who uses the method as a delivery medium.

My name is Solomon Friedman. I have recently joined Angel Hands Wellness as a “life strategist”.  My thoughts and my philosophy are mostly original, and as such may initially sound unorthodox. This is who I am and I do not accept ideas on the basis that “it’s always been that way”. So I can promise that unless it is current news I will not recycle other people’s ideas.

Since I believe that our universe is driven by mind, software and not by matter, hardware. I believe that the healing power is in the mind and the intentions of the therapist.

A sensitive therapist can sense, through the physical touch with their hands, the feelings and emotions in our mind.

Case in point: I developed a sharp pain on the right side of the abdomen under my ribcage. After seeing specialists and having extensive tests done nothing was found. A year had past with the pain being there almost every day. Then, without any particular reason, it just went away. That was five years ago. Recently, I went for a Shiatsu session and the therapist, while moving his hand over my body, stopped on the exact point where the pain had resided and asked me if I have a problem there. Now that was the therapist’s mind that “felt” or “saw” that there was a problem in that particular location; and if he can “see” the problem with his mind, he can perform the healing in same way.

When a therapist is investing their energy into making the patient well and they get the mental cooperation from the patient, and the patient believes, then the odds are high the therapy will work.

I am just scratching the surface here. In the future, I will publish more in-depth articles and opinions on the subject of Mind Over Matter, so please come back.

“A man IS where his thoughts are.  He must make sure that his thoughts are where he WANTS to be…”

Sincerely,

Solomon, Life Strategist
